Digital Reasoning announced Tuesday that it has formed a strategic alliance with Battelle Science and Technology International, a division of Battelle. The latter company is a nonprofit trust that is the world’s largest independent research and development organization, with some $3.7 billion in annual research and development spending. Harry Schultz joins Brentwood-based Digital Reasoning from the federal systems development division of IEM Inc. While with IEM, Schultz created custom automated task management systems for the Federal Emergency Management Agency and a grants management system for the U.S. Army’s Chemical Stockpile Emergency Preparedness Program.
