Joseph T. Anderson
Retired USMC Major General Anderson is a graduate of the US Naval Academy. In addition to his B.S. degree, Major General Anderson earned an M.S. degree in Systems Management from the University of Southern California. He is also a graduate of US Naval Test Pilot School and the National War College. He has served as Director, Operations Division, Marine Corps, Vice Commander, Naval Air Systems Command and as the Assistant Chief of Staff, Command, Control, Communications, Computer and Intelligence (C4I) and as Director of Intelligence, Headquarters, U.S. Marine Corps. Major General Anderson is currently the Deputy Director of the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum.

Kenneth G. Elzinga
Kenneth G. Elzinga is the Robert C. Taylor Chair in Economics at the University of Virginia. He was the first recipient of the Cavaliers’ Distinguished Teaching Professorship at the University, a recipient of the Alumni Association’s Distinguished Professor Award, the Commonwealth of Virginia’s Outstanding Faculty Award, as well as awards in education from the Kenan and Templeton foundations. In 1992, he was given the Thomas Jefferson Award, the highest honor the University of Virginia accords its faculty. Mr. Elzinga’s major research interest is antitrust economics, especially pricing strategy and market definition. He has testified in several precedent-setting antitrust cases. The author of more than seventy academic publications, he also is known for three mystery novels, co-authored with William Breit (under the pen name Marshall Jevons) where the protagonist employs economic analysis to solve the crime. Mr. Elzinga also is a past president of the Southern Economic Association, a member of Mystery Writers of America, and serves on the national Board of Directors of Inter-Varsity Christian Fellowship and the Board of Trustees at Hope College. Mr. Elzinga has a B.A. and honorary doctorate from Kalamazoo College and a Ph.D. from Michigan State University. He has been a member of the faculty at the University of Virginia since 1967.


Michael B. Miller
With over twenty years in professional sales, Mike Miller brings to Digital Reasoning a sizeable amount of strategic and tactical business experience. He currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Worldwide sales for Appian, one of the industry leaders in the Business Process Management market. Prior to joining Appian, Mike worked for two years as a managing principal at the Sandler Sales Institute, performing sales training and management consulting for dozens of clients in high tech markets, helping them to increase sales efficiency and drive increased customer satisfaction for their organizations. His experience also includes running Sales for the Americas at Managed Objects, one of the leading suppliers of business service management software. Prior to joining Managed Objects, Mike served in various sales roles for Computer Associates for a 14 year period, managing increasingly larger sales territories. During the 55 quarters of Mike’s CA tenure, he was consistently among their highest performers in every capacity. Mike holds a Bachelors degree in Economics from the University of Virginia.

William D. Tucker, III
William D. Tucker, III, chose real estate and business as his areas of concentration in the practice of law. Mr. Tucker’s creative vision and real estate development savvy identify him as a leader in business. His clients and associates agree that he is an expert at being responsive, tenacious, focused, and personable. Born in Miami, Florida, Mr. Tucker grew up in both Miami and in Huntsville, Alabama. He received his undergraduate degree in Business Administration from the University of Florida and went on to law school at the University of Virginia. He received his J.D. in 1971 and subsequently admitted to the bar in Virginia and Florida. Mr. Tucker established Tucker Griffin Barnes P.C. in Charlottesville, Virginia, where he continues to reside with his family. A firm believer in community involvement, Mr. Tucker has served as a board member, officer, and counsel for such non-profit organizations as the Paramount Theater, Camp Albemarle, Virginia Institute of Autism, Save the Fireworks, First Night Virginia, and the Charlottesville YMCA.
