Tim Estes – Chief Executive Officer
Tim is the principal technology visionary and founder of Digital Reasoning® Systems. He has Served as its CEO since founding over five years ago. Tim’s academic work at the University of Virginia focused in the areas of Philosophy of Language, Mathematical Logic, Semiotics, Epistemology, and Phenomenology. It was that eclectic academic background, coupled with the commitment to and belief in the ability of human beings to create intelligent learning systems that gave rise to the breakthrough technology which is at the core of Digital Reasoning® Systems.


Dorothy Currey – Chief Officer for Corporate Affairs
Dorothy ("Dot") Currey is secretary to the Board of Directors, serves as the Chief Officer for Corporate Affairs, and co-founder of Digital Reasoning® Systems. As the COCA, Dot establishes and administers the governance of the corporation as well as reviews and advises on all functions of the firm, and helps to guide the formulation and implement of the corporate strategy. She has communications responsibilities to shareholders and potential investors, and coordinates legal matters. Through her 20+ years of experience with such national clients as Texaco, Star Enterprise, Coca-Cola, NASCAR and Tropicana, Dot brings a wealth of experience and knowledge in the national and international marketing and public relations fields. She has been the President and CEO of three marketing centered corporations and has had extensive experience in start up situations. As a Digital Reasoning® Systems co-founder, Dot has been with the company since its inception. She is a graduate of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

Harry Schultz - Vice President of Product Development and Solutions
Harry Schultz serves as the Vice President of Product Development and Solutions for Digital Reasoning® Systems. He has over 31 years of experience providing technology solutions in a variety of different industries. Most recently, Harry worked for an emergency management consulting company (IEM, Inc) as the Manager of the Federal Systems Development Division, creating custom automated task management systems for FEMA, and a grants management system and information portal for the US Army’s Chemical Stockpile Emergency Preparedness Program (managed by DHS). Harry began his career as a software engineer, developing software for telephone systems, process control and data acquisition systems in a refinery, and operating systems for Digital Equipment Corp (VMS). Harry has focused the last 15 years of his career on managing large-scale IT projects and software development groups, with emphasis on team building and developing the processes and environment necessary to support successful software development efforts.

Dr. Michael Reitzel - Vice President of Strategic Development
Michael Reitzel is a leader in high technology and has over 20 years of leadership experience, including general management with P&L responsibility, marketing & sales, engineering, mergers & acquisitions, international, business development, brand positioning, marketing communication, channel development & management, as well as product development, in software and electronics real-time technology-based product companies. He has held eight vice president level positions in both Fortune 50 companies and high technology, early-stage start-ups. In addition to his responsibilities here at Digital Reasoning Systems, Dr. Reitzel serves on the business faculty at DeVry University in Austin, Texas. Dr. Reitzel received a Juris Doctorate from Cleveland-Marshall Law School, a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from Ohio State University and a Ph.D. in Organization and Management from Capella University. His focus now is on leadership in high technology environments and how leadership creates strong results.

Ginger Lannom - Director of Operations and Human Resources
Ginger Lannom has served the company since March of 2005, first as the Director of Human Resources and as the Facility Security Officer. Ginger oversees all day-to-day operations of the company to provide for safe, secure and efficient operations. Ginger has over thirteen years of experience as a consultant with the majority of this time serving the Federal government at the Department of Energy (DOE) and the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) in the areas of government policy management, cyber security, information technology capital planning, special security requirements, office management, Technical Integration and senior executive level review and reporting. Ginger brings a wealth of government expertise to the Digital Reasoning® Systems management team.

 

Bill Day - Director of Developer Products
Bill Day helps drive adoption of DRSI's innovative approach to finding meaning inherent in human language. His focus is on the Digital Reasoning Platform and enabling developers to succeed with Digital Reasoning technologies. Bill is also a contributor to Wired's GeekDad.com blog and Founder & Technical Guru of Day Web Development.

Bill has previously been up to his elbows in wireless technology while serving as Head of Technical Services & Consultancy for Forum Nokia in the Americas and before that as Staff Engineer & Chief Wireless Technology Evangelist for Sun Microsystems. He has spoken widely on software development as an Association for Computing Machinery Distinguished Lecturer and has presented keynotes and technical sessions at major industry conferences including JavaOne, Software Development, and SIGGRAPH. While at Nokia and Sun, he taught Java and Wireless development as an extension instructor for the University of California Berkeley and his Java ME Archive, writing, and speaking helped drive Java ME adoption to hundreds of millions of devices and empowered thousands of developers to write applications for Java enabled cell phones and PDAs.

Prior to Nokia and Sun, Bill was a software engineer for SGI and held fellowships with the Honeywell Technology Center, Edinburgh Parallel Computing Centre, and Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. Bill earned a BS in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Oklahoma and completed one year of graduate studies in Scientific Computation while a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellow at the University of Minnesota. 

 

Jason Beck - Director of Communications
Jason Beck is responsible for all internal and external communications, including media strategy, public relations, and brand development. As an Army Captain, Jason served as the Deputy Public Affairs Officer for Task Force 1st Armored Division in Baghdad, Iraq, where he oversaw and coordinated with all international media and local Iraqi media for which he was subsequently awarded the Bronze Star. Jason brings a unique perspective from having served also as a US Army Intelligence Officer in South Korea where he led Human Intelligence (HUMINT) activities for the 2nd Infantry Division. Jason has a B.A. in Political Science from The University of the South (Sewanee) and is a graduate of the Defense Information School (DINFOS) at Fort Meade, Maryland. He currently sits on the board for a local economic development initiative, advises several non-profits and is the commander of an Army Reserve Public Affairs detachment in Nashville, Tennessee.
