Cognitive computing venture’s Series D tops out at $40M
Minnesota-based Lemhi Ventures has invested an undisclosed amount in Digital Reasoning Systems, the cognitive computing company that a few months ago bought fellow local company Shareable, where Lemhi had been a lead investor.
Digital Reasoning executives said health care-focused Lemhi’s investment brings their Series D funding round to $40 million. Other big names to have put their money into the company include Nasdaq, Goldman Sachs and HCA. Those investments are helping Digital Reasoning expand its services beyond its defense intelligence roots into the financial services and health care sectors.
