Synthesys™ is a platform-independent and on any system that supports a standard Java Virtual Machine (JVM). The depends on the amount of information you wish to process, the velocity with which new information enters the system, and the number and geographic distribution of your user community.

Synthesys was designed to run on a variety of hardware configurations, ranging from a small server to a large-scale, distributed grid environment spread over a large geographic area. The underlying architecture also supports adding additional servers and storage to an existing system with minimal reconfiguration, should your scale and performance requirements increase over time.
